Joining up Europe
The team developing the UK’s Rapid Charge Network is working with similar European funded projects to share knowledge, with the aim of linking up the whole of Europe, helping drivers to drive as far as Croatia and Denmark.
A recent workshop brought together partners from across Europe and discussions focused on meeting the needs of existing and future EV drivers travelling in the UK and on the continent, and encouraging further investment into EV technology. Some of the key topics of the group have included interconnectivity and eroaming across the different networks across Europe.
Sharing the knowledge gained from this project is critical to ensure that drivers in other towns, cities and countries across the EU can benefit and learn from our experiences from the project.
